How much storage do I need and what cards are supported?
We recommend a high-endurance microSD (V30/U3) up to [256GB] for best stability. Larger cards = longer loop time before old files are overwritten. This 3 channel dash cam comes with a 64GB SD card.
-
How can I activate the parking monitoring feature? Do I need a separate hardwire kit?
To enable the 24-hour parking monitoring feature, you’ll need a TYPE-C hardwire kit (not included with the dash camera). The recommended kit can be found on Amazon by searching for B0CYH56PPJ.
-
Can this dash cam front and rear inside clearly read license plates at night or in the rain?
Yes. The lens uses a wide aperture with HDR/WDR to pull detail out of dark scenes and reduce glare. You’ll capture sharp plates and road signs even in rain or low-light.
-
Can I monitor my car remotely?
No, this dash camera for cars doesn’t support cloud or internet streaming and isn’t designed as a cloud or IP camera. However, if you’re within 10 feet, you can view footage and recordings via the WitCam app while it’s recording.
-
Can I use CarPlay/Android Auto and the dash cam at the same time?
Yes, they work together, but can’t connect to your phone at the same time. We recommend prioritizing CarPlay or Android Auto while driving一the dash cam will continue recording even without an active WiFi connection.
